I have been re-arranging my social media presence a bit. It was getting too unwieldy to engage with, and there were too many mad fascist oligarchs in the mix.

The present state of affairs for wordy stuff is:

  • Mastodon - @looptron@hachyderm.io
  • Bluesky - looptron.bsky.social
  • Threads - @looptron (I keep flickering on this one, because Zuck, but I want to keep Instagram because of all the guitar friends it funnels at me… and this is effectively the same account. But I won’t promote it and it might disappear depending on my mood.)

For pictures and video:

In each case the intent is to cross-post (I’ve been experimenting with Croissant and Openvibe) so pick your fave and follow me there.

Meanwhile, my Twitter X and Facebook accounts (which I’d set to private but had still been holding on to in case they became less full of fascist bell-ends) are no more.

(I just had to google whether there was a hyphen in “bell-end”. Answer: maybe)

Having done some housekeeping with this stuff the intent is to engage a bit more. See you out there…
